Stephan completed his dental degree in 1989 at the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He then worked as a Dental Officer in the South African Air Force in Hoedspruit and Potchefstroom. He also practiced in Wapadsrand in Pretoria while filling the post of a lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA).

Stephan accepted a position as an associate dentist in an NHS practice in Uxbridge from where he moved on to a mixed NHS / Private practice in High Wycombe three years later. In April 2000 Stephan established Islington Green Dental Practice and remains as the Principal Dentist and Director of IGDP Limited.

Stephan enjoys general restorative dentistry and has a special interest in Invisalign®.  He has been designated gold status by Invisalign®.  He has treated and has committed to treat a significant number of patients with Invisalign per year.

Alistair qualified in Manchester in 1993 and went on to gain four years experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at major hospital units in Manchester and Glasgow. He then obtained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 with specific focus in oral surgery. He has also completed numerous courses in implant and cosmetic dentistry and has placed hundreds of implants since beginning his implant practice in 1999.

As the culmination of his implant/surgical skills, Alistair is currently taking the prestigious Diploma in Implantology at The Royal College of Surgeons, which finishes at the end of 2010. He undertakes all aspects of implant/surgical dentistry including implant placement and restoration, sinus and bone grafting, treatment planning for other practitioners, wisdom tooth removal and all other aspects of oral surgery.

Alistair can offer a range of treatments from immediate implantation to full mouth restoration, working with patients to deliver the most suitable implant option for the individual. He is committed to both quality of care and the highest standard of communication and prides himself on his relaxing yet confident manner. Emphasis is placed on achieving excellence in appearance and function resulting in a naturally confident smile.

Rory graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1999 and has worked in London ever since.

Having operated in a number of different disciplines Rory is now focusing his attention on endodontic matters (root canal treatments).

He takes on difficult cases and offers re-treatment of failed cases. Rory operates a surgical microscope which allows for far more predictable results and is committed to updating his knowledge in this area.

Periodontist

Obtained her BDS from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 1998 and after qualifying gained some years of experience in general dental practice in London. She then joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Ipswich Hospital and subsequent to that she was a staff grade oral surgeon at Guy’s Hospital in London where she was involved in the teaching of the undergraduates. It was at this time that she completed her MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.

After completing MFDS she then started the four year specialist training program in Periodontology at Guy’s Hospital; this included all aspects of non-surgical and surgical techniques in periodontology, implantology and scientific research. She completed the course with an MSc (Distinction), Master of Clinical Dentistry (University of London) and the Membership in Restorative Dentistry Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is on the specialist register for periodontology with the General Dental Council.

At IGDP Angela accepts referrals for all aspects of periodontology. The treatments that she will provide include non-surgical and surgical periodontal techniques, including regeneration, mucogingival soft tissue management, adjunctive antimicrobial therapy and crown lengthening. In addition to her activity at the Centre she will continue to teach the undergraduate students in the department of Periodontology at Guy’s hospital.

Angela is committed to continually updating her knowledge of the literature on current periodontal techniques.
